Gia Taylor Cosmetics is more than just another makeup brand; it's a celebration of passion and drive to create a brand that empowers and uplifts. This company was started by an ambitious 17 year old, and our brand's story unfolds the remarkable journey of, who is now, an inspiring 23-year-old innovator who continues to push the limits and strive for a better beauty company for all. This journey highlights the hungry spirit and success of young entrepreneurs.
MEET THE GLOSS CREW!
Meet the Gloss Boss:
I am an only child, and I started my business when I was 17 years old as a hobby during the boredom of the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown. I began to turn my hobby into a business in 2021, and now it is my full-time job. I grew up in Upper Township and Ocean City, and graduated Stockton University in spring of 2026 with my accelerated MBA. I work part time at an accounting firm during the week days, work in our store and events on the weekends, and work on the business and making product every night! I create all of my products to be vegan, cruelty-free and free from most common allergens because I believe we can have fun with beauty and cosmetics without hurting other living beings! I truly work on the business seven days a week, in between balancing career work and family. Every single lipgloss and lotion is hand-formulated, made, and filled by me in my "gloffice"! (With the help of family, of course<3) And now, at 22 and 23 years old, my husband and I opened our very first storefront - Gloss and Glow!
Fun fact: I drive a pink sparkly SUV that I named "Mindy"!
My favorite part of running the business: Creating the seasonal glosses, and meeting customers in person!
My favorite gloss: Dream House, Vanilla Cakepop, and Pink Potion! I love anything pink and sparkly!
Meet Gloss Mom:
My name is Anna, and I'm the Gloss Mom! I love to help in the gloffice on my nights off from my real job. My favorite job in the gloffice is piping the lipglosses, especially popsicle glosses - so fun! I am typically the one who brings your online orders to the post office!
Fun fact: I am a full-time nurse, and enjoy doing yoga
My favorite part of the business: Attending festivals and shows on the weekends
My favorite gloss: Rose Petal and Plumping Peppermint. I love the ultra-clear and clarified glosses. Unlike Gia, I don't like sparkles!
Meet Gloss Husband:
My name is Quinn, and I am Gia's husband! With no prior knowledge of lipgloss making, you can now call me a pro. I help during the long nights of the busy seasons by helping make the batches, piping the tubes, and boxing up orders. I also am a lead role in coming up with the creative seasonal glosses!
Fun fact: I also attend Stockton University; I am also a business admin major!
My favorite part of the business: Smelling the different scents and watching the new glosses go from an idea to reality
My favorite gloss: Very Cherry; a classic.
Meet Butterfly:
My name is Butterfly, and I was rescued in 2018, before the business was even thought of! Mom says that I am not allowed in the gloffice, but I understand that it is for sanitary reasons. I love tummy rubs and taking naps in the sun.
Fun fact: I have a butterfly pattern on my head, that's why they named me Butterfly!
My favorite part of the business: Mom hid a little butterfly on the back of her business cards to represent me
My favorite gloss: Tink (I was told it has holographic butterfly glitter in it!)
