Coffee of the day: From Wawa, large iced coffee with oat milk and caramel <3
Today on Live we piped our brand new Mother's Day glosses, Cherry Blossom and You Are My Sunshine. I was really excited for today's Live and even got on early (unlike me!), and to my surprise it was our least watched live EVER. Honestly it did leave me a little (lot) discouraged afterwards, and needed some consoling lol. The vibes of the Live were fabulous, as so many of our repeat customers and friends were in today! There were really no new faces, which although some can be negative, I always look forward to meeting new people on the Live and seeing the power of how much it can bring people together from all over. Tt was just discouraging as I was wondering, was I doing something wrong? Was I talking about boring topics? Was I piping too slow? Was the music too loud? Too quiet? I'm truly not sure what it could have been! Anyway, hoping it was just a random Tiktok fluke, and we will have a blast next week no matter what!
The big news from this week is we have some serious developments on the re-vamped tubes. First, I signed the contract very early this week, that once my factory can develop CLEAR wands in the new fatter design, it is a done deal!! They agreed to these terms and as of right now have a plan drafted to have the machinery complete for production in August, and our new ones made and coming in in September!! OMG!
Second , the package I was expecting last week with our new tubes for Lip Oils and Peppermint, STILL HASN'T COME! Agh! I am hoping they come tomorrow! If so, we will be doing an inventory clear-out all week and doing major sales or BOGO deals on Lip Oils and Peppermint!! SO exciting, especially for next weeks Live! Yay!
As far as school goes, the project I was nervous about went very well, and the teacher was so kind in grading it luckily, haha. And now this week we are tacking an 8 page paper, three group projects, and one individual project. So so much to doooo. Final stretch!
Also, we have almost locked down our SHIMMERSSS!!!! Cupcake is now launched by herself in full size:) And, it has been decided I am making a FIVE-GLOSS-SET of new shimmer glosses; this will be the biggest set yet! We are doing White Pearl in vanilla coconut scent, Fantasy in butterscotch scent, Starry in strawberry cheesecake scent, Unicorn in sweet caramel scent, and Pink Pearl in.... TBD scent. Estimated time until launch: 2 months
Also, SMILEY SKIN IS LAUNCHING MAY 1!! WOOHOO!
